Life in 10 days.

In the past 10 days or so, I have experianced and documented Life, Love, Commitment, Sacrifice, Growth, and Celebration. It is such a huge honor to have others (complete strangers) trust me to capture such special times in their lives.I cannot express the pur elatement I feel, sharing these events with you.

My journey started with Brandy and Dennis.  Expecting their first child (a boy) in a few short weeks.  This is such an exciting and terrifying time.  While photographing, and getting to know this beautiful couple, I recalled my own experiances with my daughter.

I next got to meet 8 day old Grayson.  He is the 3rd son of a woman I went to high school with.  He was so sweet, and so relaxed.  I couldnt believe how tiny he was.  Its hard to remember how tiny babies are, when your own baby is almost 6 years old.

Chloe, is a celebrations in herself.  Shes so happy, and talkative, and cooperative!  I have met chloe on a couple other occasions, while on other shoots for her cousins.  Chloe was having her four year old pictures taken.  Shes such a delight to work with!

Prom, is one of those milestones you will never forget.  I hope that will be true for my beautiful cousin Kristina.  Krissy lived with us for a while when she was little, and shes always been like a sister to me.  Its amazing to me to watch her grow up into this beautiful young woman. Its been a great honor to help document some of these milestones for her.
On Memorial day, my daughter was in the Dearborn Memorial day parade.  I have never been before, and had no idea what to expect. It was such a moving experiance, that at times I was brought to tears.  They had a mock funeral for all the fallen soldiers who have never had a proper burial. I photographed with one had, while my other hand was over my heart.  My family stood in silence beside me.  I saw thousands of men and women who sacrificed alot for our freedom.  I am forever greatful to them, including Grandpa Partee, and Grandpa Chino.  I will never forget the sacrifices of them, and all their families.

Finally I got to experiance the wedding of a couple who have been together for 15 years or so.  A couple who have no doubt had their ups and downs, and still stood strong, and commited and finally reached the altar.  There were alot of similarities to this couples family and my own.  Part of me almost felt like a guest at their wedding, instead of just a photographer.

Its been a very humbling experiance these past 10 days or so. to be apart of your lives, and witness, and document for you such fantastic adventures.  You all have so may adventures in this life ahead of you.  So many grand and glorious things to look forward to.  I hope you will look back on the memories I have captured, with nothing but loving memories of your life at this moment.  As I know I will.
