Couples session nominees

Al and Livinia

I would like to nominate my friends Al & Lavinia for the free couple session.

They have been married for about 30 tough years. Several years ago, Al was

diagnosed with cancer, Lavinia was right by his side to help him "get through"

it, while raising 4 beautiful children.  If that wasn't enough, later down the road, 

Lavinia herself was diagnosed with cancer and the roles reversed. 

A few years ago, Al had a stroke, his speech was impacted so much that you had 

to struggle to understand what he was trying to say.  He didn't understand your basic 

everyday things and could not be left alone. Lavinia was right by his side, working 

with him everyday to re-teach him how to talk and to explain the simplest things to 

him such as the stove is "hot" and what that actually meant.  Fast forward to now.... 

Lavinia has been diagnosed with cancer yet again, and Al is by her side. They are

still in Love and you can tell for them that laughter and family are the best medicine. 

They have been through so very much. Please consider them for this free session, they 

are truly a strong, beautiful couple.

Sheila and Chuck

Good Morning,

 

  I would like to Nominate My mom (Sheila) , Step Dad (Chuck) and their son (Sheba)**Siberian Husky**.

 

I've never met a unique couple until my step dad came into my life. We were living out of milk crates until he took.

 

control and actually gave us things we needed. My mom raised us 4 kids plus my cousin. She worked two

 

minimum wage jobs to support us. She would drink her self until she got full just to feed us kids. Our Christmas 

 

wasn't much but she made it. She would do anything for us kids no matter if it put her in a bind. All of us kids

 

were selfless and left her in 2000. She broke down and lost everything, She gave up. My mother was and still is

 

the most amazing person on this earth. I didn't realize what she had to sacrifice for us until i heard the facts.

 

Recently, in 2009 I went to her trailer and reunited with my mom and Dad.  Sadly, I was the only one to keep in

 

touch. My mom has bent over backwards for her kids and all these years that I lost with her makes my heart break. 

If it wasn't for my step dad coming into our lives, I'm unsure If i would be the person I am today. He stepped into

 

our lives knowing he had to care for 6 other kids and he turned our lives around. We never had a dresser ...We

 

used milk crates for everything. We didn't know what bran clothing was until he took us to the Mall.  He used his

 

 income to better our lives. I couldn't thank them both enough.

 

If your looking for couple who went threw it all these are your pick... I would give up anything for these two. A

 

couple who stuck together through thick and thin no matter what.

Jessica and James

I certainly have a couple to nominate for a session. 

My friends Jessica Tarrant and James Medaris. Selfless in everything they do for friends and family, they are genuinely nice people. You don't see much of that anymore. When I was having hard time being a single mom of a newborn and really needed someone, Jessie was always there. She gives and expects nothing in return. And while James is a bit quieter and not very social, he can also be a great friend, and he is a wonderful dad. They have a sweet 3 year old daughter, Gabby, and a newborn son, Floyd. I'm not sure if they have ever even had pictures done together, besides pictures that friends and family have snapped. 

I can't think of a more deserving couple :)

Rebeccas Grandparents

Well not sure if you do any areas near Monroe Michigan but my grandparents! They are such giving, hard working, and loving people. They have been married going on 53 years April 2 of this year. They have a love that is so pure and should be an example of what marriage is about! If you ask anyone that they know they will tell you they are the nicest most giving people they know and never ask for anything in return. They would love this and would be a great surprise for them. Please consider my grandparents Orville & Jeanette. I could say myself because I too am currently going through tough times but who isn't? This is a couple that gives to help those other people out and truly deserve it.
