A few months ago I met Kori and Danny.  They were expecting their first child.  I had photographed Kori's mom a few months prior, and it was a great pleasure meeting her daughter.  Kori, was a great pleasure to photograph, she has a natural beauty. 

Meeting their beautiful son he immediately took my heart! Such a gorgeous little face, and sweet as can be. 

By the look on his face, and some of his guestures, I have no doubt he is an old soul.  His Grandma even agrees with this.  He just has a knowing look on his face.

I think my favorite thing about newborn session like this, is when the parents add their own little touch.  We have had a UofM theme, and this time we had a Basketball theme.  Which I cannot tell you how much this thrills me! When Kori put his little sweatband on his head, I just about died. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen!

My heart melts for these little babies.  Sometimes I just get the urge to squish them and love on them.  Heck I dont even care when they pee on me, or throw up on me.  I just like spending time with them.  Babies grow up so quickly, and change so rapidly.  I love capturing a little part of their life.  It brings me the greatest joy to know, in 20 years, my pictures will still be around for the mommies to reminisce over.  Much like I do with my own daughters pictures.
