Trash the dress *high school edition*

What is a trash the dress session?

At your wedding, or at your prom,  you want to stay pristine, polished.  You dont want to get a huge snag in your dress, or get it dirty by laying in the grass.  After the event you dont mind getting down and getting a little dirty.  This is what a trash the dress session is, a session where your not afraid to do things, you wouldnt normally do in formal wear.  Like laying down in wet grass.

For our high school edition, our subject Kristina is celebrating the end of high school.  Kristina graduated with honors in June, and will be heading off to Med School in 18 short days.  We had 4 dresses, and shot at 5 very different locations.

Sometimes in photography, you come across someone who feels comfortable in their own skin.  Someone who needs very little instruction and just goes with the flow.  That was the case with this session.  I have worked with Kristina before, but always indoors.  This was a fantastic change in scenery.  It was as if we were both set free from the bonds of being indoors. Its where we really shined, together.  

  This session, allowed me to catch what I feel is the essence of her.  Beauty, Grace, Loving, Intellectual, Joyful, and sometimes a bit Silly.
