December

The first week of December had already passed.  Where does the time go? It seems like only yesterday we were doing fall sessions.  Here we are now, and all Christmas sessions are over, and plans are underway for next year.  It has been a fantastic year, filled with many adventures, and some heartbreak.  And I thank every one of you for believing in me, and standing behind me through it all!  It has been a very successful year to me, considering I have shot more of your beautiful faces, in the last 3 months, than I shot all last year! I thank you for that!

I ended the Christmas season earlier than usual this year, because with all that has been going on I just needed some time off.  And what better time to have off, than the Christmas season.  My husband is taking us to our very favorite place in the world! DISNEY WORLD!  When we return, I will have a couple days to do some Christmas shopping in Downtown Fredericksburg, with my little sister.  I cant wait to show her around.  She arrives tonight, and will be here until just before Christmas!

Its funny when I reflect back on last year, and Christmas.  I remember spending December in a foot of snow, burried up to my boot straps, out snapping away the scenery.  Being in a new place I am learning Christmas looks wet and soggy! Not that I mind at all, Im not a big fan of the months and months of snow, that I left behind in Michigan.  And when my sister asked if she should bring boots or tennis shoes, and I replied "shoes, its 60 degrees out"  well that just makes me happy!

So I hope, while I am out of town, and away from the computer this holiday season, that you will be doing the same thing as I am.  Enjoying your family, having fun, eating well, and feeling the joy of the season.  Go out and enjoy Christmas lights, hold your loved ones tight, and dont forget to take pictures! These memories should not be forgotten! Have a blessed holiday!
